Next, go to the area at the foot of a crumbling tower where you once fought a Scorn Walker, and defend the worm from waves of Scorn.Īfter that, ascend the tower and meet Mara Sov, who will give you the Parasite exotic grenade launcher. The Hive Light is caged, so blast the crystals to unlock each source. After going through a Deepsight-linked portal, you need to gain more Hive Light from among swarms of enemies. The traps are one-hit-killers, so this may take a few attempts, and unfortunately death boots you all the way outside. With limited mobility, you need to make your way around the room collecting all the Hive energy pools, including some in the two antechambers on either side of the main area. Rotating beams are blocking your path and Cursed Thralls are everywhere. In the first section, you must carry Savathûn’s worm towards the Court of Thorns, grabbing Hive energy from big, obvious energy pools along the way. (And that is something to bear in mind: at the time of writing, you cannot revisit Parasitic Pilgrimage.) We look back upon it fondly, but we don’t particularly regret that we can’t play it again. Parasitic Pilgrimage is either a lot of fun or a total pain in the butt, depending on how things go for you in various places. This unlocks the exotic mission Parasitic Pilgrimage. This reveals a chest back down on the ground, containing the next Cryptoglyph Rune.īefore the grand finale, you need to go through the Extraction Lost Sector and visit the Deepsight-hidden chamber beyond, then speak to Fynch. Don’t worry though, you just need to activate the Deepsight node here, then jump up onto platforms that are revealed and shoot the three torches that you find on them. This time it isn’t quite so straightforward, as the Hive have hidden the Rune somewhere nearby. After Metamorphosis, head to Alluring Curtain in search of another Cryptoglyph Rune. Once again you clear it out and then use Deepsight to find the next hidden incubator. The Lost Sector called Metamorphosis is up next. Track it in the Director again, plot your way through the Throne World city to the icon and defeat waves of Hive to get your hands on the Cryptoglyph Rune. Next you need to complete three Patrols in Fluorescent Canal, before finding another Crytoglyph Rune, this time in Queen’s Bailey. You start with Sepulcher, and the chamber is unlocked via Deepsight once you take out the boss. Each Lost Sector has a secret chamber where you will gain some extra story insight, revealed as part of this quest chain. Then it’s onto a tour of the Lost Sectors with a few pit stops in between. Next up, you need to defeat 100 Scorn in the Throne World. Kill them all and you will receive the Cryptoglyph Rune object.

Track the waypoint in your Director and head through the caverns that lead you to it, and when you reach the section where you fought to open the temple bridge in the campaign, you will be set upon by waves of Scorn and a Fanatic’s Chosen boss.

The next quest step takes you back to Savathûn’s Temple of Cunning, which was the basis of The Cunning in the campaign where you found her worm and fought the projection of an Ahamkara.

There is some decent lore in this one and as long as you follow the objective marker and shoot everything you find, you will complete it easily enough. To begin with, you need to play through the Birthplace of the Vile strike, which is the other new strike in The Witch Queen.
